BIOPEK

The Biopek®CHP product line is a spherical bead expandable polystyrene (EPS) that is processed like standard EPS and has been designed to have accelerated biodegradation compared to standard EPS.

All Styropek products are third party certified to ensure the highest quality and performance for a specific product application. REACH

Styropek® CHP27 products are in compliance with REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) regulations, and in specific test results show that the SVHC (Substance of Very High Concern) content in Styropek® CHP27 products are under the required limit.

RoHS

Flame Retardant

The foams produced with Styropek® CHF16 product comply with the fire behavior regulations in accordance with the UNE 23727-M1 and DIN 4102-B1 (hardly flammable) standards for use as insulating materials

FDA

Styropek® CHP27 products comply with the requirements of FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1640 (Polystyrene and Modified Polystyrene) as accepted material to be used in contact with all types of food.

CANADIAN FOOD INSPECTION AGENCY

Styropek® CHP27 products comply with the requirements established in the regulation of the Canadian Food and Drugs, Part B Division 23, as accepted material to be used in contact with all types of food.
