Styropek has a wide variety of beads (modified and unmodified) designed to provide exceptional performance when used in applications in the EPS market.
These applications include, but are not limited to, the construction industry, thermal insulation, part molding, and industrial packaging.
Modified Beads (with flame retardant)
Styropek® BF series products include the BF-295, BF-395, BF-395M, BF-395S and BF-495. Styropek® BF products can be used in a wide variety of applications including building blocks, panels, thermal / acoustic insulation and general packaging. Additional applications include ICF’s (“insulated concrete forms”), thin-walled part molding, lost heart casting part molding and other protective packaging.

This Biopek MXP sample was tested using ASTM D5511 and demonstrated enhanced biodegradation of 16.5% in 229 days as compared 0.3% biodegradation of standard EPS sample, when tested under the same conditions for the same period of time.
